AbstractDopamine was used to functionalize the surface of MoS2 to form MoS2@DA sheets. The MoS2@DA sheets were incorporated into PVDF matrix to prepare PVDF/MoS2@DA composites by solution casting method. The results indicate that dielectric constant of PVDF/MoS2@DA composites were notably improved, compared with pure PVDF (εr≈10), with the mass fraction of filler less than 3.5 wt%. The percolation occurred at a low filler content of 2.67 wt% with a sharp increase of dielectric constant. D-E loops and energy storage behavior were also measured and discussed. The maximum energy density of the composite with 0.33 wt% MoS2 was 1.75 J cm-3.
